Get Paid to Write Articles - Love Speed!
One thing I love about getting paid to write articles is speed.
They’re fast to write, fast to review, and that means usually fast to pay.
There’s no major commitment, like you get in a bigger project. Even with a huge order (and my firm has recently done hundreds of articles for one client, in batches of 50 at a time) on a technical topic – it’s not like writing a book, where you’re in it for months.
If you’re writing on a topic you know well, you may be able to knock articles out in less than 15 minutes each, which at $25 each, puts your hourly rate at $100 – nice! If you know the topic really well, you might write twice as fast. If you’re using voice recognition software, and writing on a topic you know well, you may shock yourself by completing the first draft of a 500-word article in about 5-7 minutes.
For many of us, the worst part about working on anything is a shortage of attention. It’s tough to stay focused on a single project or topic day after day. With a batch of articles, you don’t have that issue – you can work on several at once, assembly-line style… or bounce from one article to another that interests you more at the time.
Got to love having a business that works WITH my shiny object syndrome… or in spite of it.

I personally like longer writing assignments. Don’t get me wrong, articles are still the bread an butter of my company, but I find it draining jumping from topic to topic all the time.
