One of the best things about being a writer is how the mind starts drawing connections between seemingly unrelated elements. That’s what makes for an interesting piece. Inspiration and motivation come from strange places.

When did this movie come out? 1991. Those pull-ups have stuck with me for more than twenty years!

I’m currently training in a 90 Day B-Fit Challenge, and my goal is to be able to do that. OK, even just ONE pull-up with good form would be pretty cool. In the process, I’m doing Zumba three nights a week for an hour each time – plus training at the gym with a trainer who’s making me do this…

Dedicated? Motivated? Inspired? You bet. See, even though I’ve burned about 35 pounds of fat in the past year or so, I’ve still got fitness goals to reach.

Same thing with having a freelance writing business. Here’s what I’m saying…
